Abstract
The application of practical forms of work in the higher school educational process on the example of distance learning for musicology students at the conservatory is considered in the article. Among the factors affecting the effectiveness of mastering and the success of the implementation of practical forms of work, the authors emphasize the independent work of students (including their work with a teacher), the development of their skills in writing and systematizing the results of practical activities, their assimilation of algorithms for the systematic preparation of their reporting activities.
The research is based on personal experience in teaching online special disciplines for musicology students. The methodology includes empirical, theoretical and comparative research methods.
As a result of the transformation of general and specific types of practical forms of students’ online work in the educational process, the authors conclude, that their approbation provided students with the possibility to continue the effective mastering of special subjects in a distance learning environment and contributed to the development and consolidation of additional skills useful for their specialty.
Prospect for further study of such forms is related to their improvement and transformation with the implementation into the off-line educational process and with the development of their mixed modifications.
