saryn

Saryn, published by the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, is an international peer-reviewed journal that promotes and discusses the high-quality studies in Arts and Humanities. Academic texts submitted to the journal may be related to various cultural works, such as musical events, theatrical and ballet performances, the film industry, art exhibitions, etc.

Saryn means “tune” or “melody” in Kazakh. This is a very wide term that associates with the traditional culture of many Turkic nations. Therefore, for good reason the majority of publications in Saryn are aimed to study and discuss the methodological issues of art in the context of national culture, as well as the problems related to cross-cultural interactions and the current state of traditions.

Saryn encourages authors to use clear and accessible language, to avoid tricky terms, and to care about the international readership. The article’s evaluation and publication deadlines depend on the theme of the issue and the number of submitted applications of authors from around the world.
