2020–2022 — St. Petersburg State University — Music Criticism (MA).

2022–2025 — Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory — Art Management (PhD in Arts).

 

Work experience

Togzhan Moldalim's research interests focus on the study of choreographic art from the point of view of performance technique, pedagogical methods of teaching dance disciplines, the search for national identity, as well as the management of choreographic art.

 

Author of 30 publications in peer-reviewed journals and collections of materials from international conferences.

 

In 2015–2016 worked as a dancer in “Gulder” dance ensemble.

In 2018–2022 worked as a dancer at the State Republican Academic Korean Theater of Musical Comedy.

In 2019–2020 worked as a dance teacher at the Zhusupbek Yelebekov Republican Variety and Circus College.

In 2021 worked as an art manager at Almaty Gallery.

In 2021–2023 worked as the executive editor of Central Asian Journal of Art Studies at the Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts.

Since 2022 she has been working at the Alexander Seleznyov Almaty Choreographic School.

In 2022 and 2023 was a mentor for the choreographic direction of 'The Planet of Art' International Music Festival  under the auspices of UNESCO.

Togzhan Moldalim toured and took workshops in Turkmenistan (Ashgabat, Dashoguz), Africa (Addis Ababa), South Korea (Seoul, Jeonju), Uzbekistan (Tashkent), India (New Delhi).

Took part in productions of the Samruk Dance Company and the ASD Dance Theater of the Faculty of Choreography of Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts.

 

Twice recipient of a scholarship from the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2014, 2019), presidential state scholarship (2018), three times laureate of the 1st degree of the republican competition of scientific research works of students of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2018, 2019, 2020), laureate of republican and international competitions in Istanbul (2018), Nur-Sultan (2019), St. Petersburg (2019), Berlin (2020), winner of the grant competition for creative projects of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation (2022).
