Themes and quality of published materials

Saryn is a scientific peer-reviewed journal specializing in publication of research results in the field of culture and art.

The Saryn journal is focused on publication of articles, reviews and peer reviews on issues relevant to modern science and corresponding to the international level on the problems, research methods and style. Languages of publication are English, Kazakh, Russian.

 

Editing and peer reviewing

The editorial board of the journal includes experts in the main areas of the themes. Editor-in-chief, Executive Editors of the issues and the editorial board are guided in their activities by the principles of professionalism, objectivity, scientific, impartiality. The interaction of the editorial board with authors is based on the principles of transparency, honesty, courtesy, fairness and objectivity.

All articles of the journal, except for editorial publications clearly marked as such, are subject to mandatory peer review on the principle of double-blind review (two-way anonymity of the author and reviewer). Manuscripts, approved by a peer reviewer, undergo the preparation procedure for publication, including editing and technical preparation by the author and the executive editor of the issue.

 

Information open access

Information about the publishing house, the editorial board, the peer review and the publication of scientific articles, and other information in accordance with the information open access of the publication are published in on the journal's website.

The journal publishes articles based on the principles of open access by the type of “bronze” and “diamond”: authors are not charged for publication, the possibility of open access to the electronic version of the journal remains for readers. For more information, see the Copyright section.

 

Publishing Ethics

Articles can be submitted to the journal's editorial office by any researcher, writing on themes, related to culture and art in general, music and music education in particular. All the articles, selected for publication, will be checked for plagiarism, content, spelling and grammatical errors.

Authors, submitting an article, to the Saryn journal for publication agree to all of the following terms:

1. The editorial office can edit content, spelling, punctuation and grammar of all articles.

2. Articles in the Saryn journal are published at the discretion of the editorial office. The editorial office also determines the date and number of an issue in which the article is to be published.

3. It is not allowed to reprint an article in any other journal without reference to the initial publication. The author is responsible for uniqueness of the article submitted for publication in Saryn. For more information, see the Publishing Ethics.

4. Articles, previously published in other publications, including in other languages, are not accepted for publication. For more information, see the Publishing Ethics.

5. There are no exceptions to item 1–4.

All authors must formalize their consent for publication. The copyright is observed in accordance with legislative and regulative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
