Education

2003–2010 — Specialist and Master degree of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.

2012–2017 — PhD candidate of Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Defended in 2017.

Work experience

She has been working at Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory since 2008. Executive editor of the Saryn journal (formerly the Bulletin of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory) since 2013. The field of scientific interests includes the musical culture of Kazakhstan at the present stage in all its diversity from the standpoint of musicology, ethnomusicology, and musical oriental studies. In addition, V. Nedlina's research and publicistic works are devoted to various phenomena of modern academic music, American minimalism, polystylism, neotraditionalism, and other current trends. In the field of music analysis and theory, objective methods of sound computer analysis are being researched by her.
