Work experience
The research interests of Damir Urazymbetov are focused on the problems of directing musical theater performances, as well as on issues of scenic spaces semiotics, history of Kazakh choreographic art, artistic portraits, art pedagogy.
The author of more than 80 publications in peer-reviewed journals, as well as in collections of international scientific conferences. The founder and leader of Qazaq Ballet creative laboratory.
Director and Choreographer of theatrical and musical performances, theatrical concerts, choreographic compositions and divertissements (more than 150 in total) in Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theater, State Academic Dance Theater of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Republican State Academic Korean Theater of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alexander Seleznyov Almaty Choreographic School, the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Temirbek Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy, Smile Children's Musical Theater, Renaissance Dance School (Astana) and other organizations.
